I have a few styles of K-type thermocouples that can be used for the EGT monitoring. I checked out a couple of "AveoMaxiSingle TC-2" 4-channel thermocouple display units that I have with the thermocouples. The AveoMaxiSingles are an early version of the MGL TC-2 Velocity singles, but not so many features. Just a basic display of 1 to 4 thermocouples but it can be configured for different ranges, J or K type thermocouples, alarm limit functions with an alarm output for a light or other 12 volt warning device. I'm considering using these for monitoring EGT and CHT during initial flight testing. Once I determine which cylinders run with the highest EGT and CHT's, I can wire those into the Westach Quad instrument.
